Search by Reading Level

Did you know that Google Search allows you to refine search by reading level?  Use the Advanced Search feature, and target search for Basic, Intermediate or Advanced results only.  Great for struggling readers in you classroom.  (Don’t forget about the other great features in “Advanced Search, such as searching by file format or date posted.)

And, don’t forget about “Simple English” in Wikipedia…this is a great way for students to access basic information about a topic as they begin to explore and research a topic.  Find it in the list of language choices, in the left column of any Wikipedia Page.
